Rethink The Importance Of Fatherhood

My first reaction to this photo when I saw it, was laughter. As I was laughing I thought of my oldest son, Kendrick and how he did this when he was about 5. I soon stopped laughing because I started putting things together in my mind about this situation. Kendrick stopped doing this because I show him the proper way to use the toilet in public. I realized that this young man, may never had been shown how to use the public toilet. I felt bad for laughing and sad for this young man. What else is he lacking as he approaches manhood? How many young men are we raising or should I say not raising to be real men? Fathers are very important to the development of our children. We as men need to ensure we are doing our part in raising these young men right in our community. #daddyeveryday
